I always read SingViet's post and have tired neck after that (keep nodding with approval and impressed at the wisdom of his words).

Everything SingViet said above is more than true... but i just want to add 1 more point... money can compensate for the difference... if u give her and her family lots of money every month, then they will keep saying that u look so young.

Having said that... there is a critical age which even money cannot help u overcome it... and that is... u must not be older than her father!!! at least be more than 10 years younger than her father is important... as the gap draws closer, the money got to increase linearly proportionally to compensate for the situation... and if the difference comes within a figure of 5, now the money component have to increase exponentially instead... very steep.

I second this approval...had been reading this thread for past 5yrs...and used this as my Vn cultural encyclopedia...a must if you want to have a Viet baxa...:)

No lah. I just speak my mind and I know I offend some fellow samsters . I am glad we share some common views.

Everybody experienced differently ... BUT ... ALL on Common Platforms ...

Sharing Individual Views and Experiences ... NOT Copy - catted and plug from somewhere and paste here ...

We also know who has the experiences and who doesn't ... so when sharing here .. NO Need to Throw Smoke Bombs ...

why should bother if others feel offended when providing words of wisdom....:)

but frankly speaking,nowadays,there are more n more people being aquainted with Vietnam n Vietnamese gals in 1 or another way.and i have also met quite a number of it.but sad to say,majority feel that they know Vietnam inside out when they dont even know how many provinces does Vietnam has....:(

me having stay in Vietnam for a period of time already can only modestly say that i am still learning day by day and know peanuts only...:o

For me, every day is a new learning process. Seriously speaking, i don't think that i know VN that well, and i am still learning. Every vietnamese i meet provides me with new perspectives and i feel i am nothing compared to the locals. :o
