I feel bro SV is right in his approach. He prepared fellow bros interested in VB (WL or whatever) for the worst. But things might not be as bad as he had described.

Bad People everywhere also have. SG, VN, or whereever in the world.
Lazy People everywhere also have. SG also got a lot. At least 10% of taxi drivers are good examples :)

One thing i strongly agree with Bro SV is, we Singaporean, i meant the majority of us, due to our protected environment and our education system, we tend to lose out to people from 3rd world countries where dog eat dog strongest survive in terms of scheming etc.

You have your own eyes to see and make judgement yourself whether this relationship is feasible. You make the wrong judgement you have only yourself to blame as bros here had already prepared you for the worst situation.

haha...now you knew why I had been reading and contributing to this thread for the past 5 yrs...this thread is a must for sinkies who are keen to marry a Vn spouse...dun go in to Wetnam blind and then dun know what hit you...can be a big shock...can also be very frustrating...can also be bitter sweet..depends on individual...we only share our experiences and cautions...up to the individual to play the lead role...we just hope more will come here to share their true experiences...:)

one thing we had in common...the love for VBs...otheriwse we won't be here or this thread will not have so many samsters contributing...:)

I dont understand why u have to be fear.If your wife love u,she will not ask u to settle but if your wife only think about herself and her family,then u have to settle

For me is simple,settle can.help can.throw money for stupid reason can

But how much i throw,UP TO ME.I call the shot and not them.

Simple reason cos i have my own family to feed

When i know is time to help,i will help.
