The vietnames community is increasing from what i see in the neighbourhood.From coffeeshop to shopping mall,i will surely bum into vietnamese so as long as your wife willing to take the first approach to talk to them,then i think she will have many freinds here.But of course got good and bad one lah who i mean those marry singaporean or work here.Not WL.

Or mix around with bro's wife here lah:D

I don't know why. But I wanna introduce my wife to some of my friends' wives who are vietnameses, she don't want. She said she prefer to mix with locals.

Don't understand the rationale, but when I'm in Vietnam, I would definitely look for Singaporeans to mix there...

I'm on the 6th floor.

5th floor, a unit directly opposite mine, there's a VB who was pregnant... and she hanged herself a few years back.

The reason why was becos,
She was pregnant, and suffer depression.
Her husband's family didn't take notice, and her husband sided his mum.
His mother scold her, said bad things about her to her husband, relatives, neighbors and friends.
They ignored her.
She escaped back to Vietnam.
Her husband coax her back.
The same things happened.
During the VB's 7 or 8th months into pregnancy,
She hanged herself.

That's why, I find it very important for her to blend into Singapore life. And lucky for me, my parents and family dote on her alot... she jus short of asking for sky...
