i think can say 99.99% get ltvp only, 0.01% unless i never heard of it. so far, never heard anyone just married and have no baby got ltvp+ at 1st attempt, dont care china, vn, malaysia, pinoy, thai, never heard of it. ltvp+ need see length of marriage and whether got baby or not.

If you have a regular job paying you around SGD 3,000.00 with at least 36 months of CPF contribution should have no problem to apply for foreigner wife LTVP.

One of my friends married a VB last year Oct and his wife got LTVP in January. He is only earning less than 2K a month and presently they do not have any baby yet.

2 to 3 years ago, I got a friend married a VB got his wife a PR within 7months. I thought he was bullshitting me but when I saw his wife blue IC, I got a shock. He told me that he went down 2 times to ICA to fight for his wife PR. The 1st application was rejected but the 2nd application, he actually went to see a higher authority and talked to him. I felt that ICA approved the application because he is earning around S$10K per month, working in a big MNC and he had been paying high income taxes for many years. Furthermore, he is staying in a Condo. This VB was a lucky one.

There are some unlucky one too. I known some VB who had married a Singaporean can't even have a LTVP for 2 to 3 years cos their husband had been into prison before and the VB had been caught working in Singapore before. Those working without CPF also had hard times applying LTVP for their VB.

Just to share with bros here. I work as taxi driver, no CPF for past 48 months, and i did not (no money) top up my own medisave (for self-employed) for last year. I am also a divorcee with 2 kids with alimony to pay. My wife got LTVP approved for 1 year first attempt. Maybe i am lucky? Or maybe give bros hope that applying for LTVP is not that hard actually if both of you have no bad records with ICA or any government agency

Haha good one bro...taxi drivers are strong earners and no problem to support wife...most taxi drivers are union members and unions have high standing in gahmen...so if your records are clean then no problem to get wife approved if wife record is also clean...heard u drive one of those Mercedes Benz...:)
