Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
Hi anyone got similar experience? I tried to buy the most basic plan for medi shield for my bx, but I cannot use medisave to pay as my wife do not have a dependent pass. Isn't LTVP a dependent pass? I need to pay cash every month. Company is AIA.

Reply from HDB to me: "Thank you for your email If you have remarried , then the 3 years wait out period from the divorce is waived. To be an owner of an HDB flat, you son must be at least 21 years old at the point of flat application. Otherwise, he can only be included as occupier. Your wife who is non-citizen, also need to be included as occupier. This is provided that you can meet all the other eligibility conditions. The flats that are offered for sale under the sale of balance flat are subsidised housing. Generally, if you have previously transferred your ownership from your matrimonial flat (subsidized) you are considered a second timer. However, you are not required to pay any resale levy for the next purchase of a flat from HDB with your new wife." Quote:
Even if monthly payment for shield plan also not much. I just bought AIA Healthshield Gold Max A - DP (Annual Premium of $341 from medisave) and AIA Healthshield Gold Max Essential A - DP (Annual Premium of $400 cash) for my bx. |
Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
KT Gold max is by cpf pay annually while essential is by cash, u can chose annual or mthly.
Bro peacock, my advice is to get diff quotes to compare, get the best u can afford . Medical cost here for non-local is no joke. |
Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
Bro KT, then my case is slightly different then. Although ex wife take over the flat, she did refund me a certain percent via cash and CPF as she did not contributed at all to the HDB flat.
Anyway thanks I must double check with HDB irregardless. |
Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
As for the insurance, I am puzzled by my agent telling me LTVP is not a dependent pass, whichever plan I buy is all paid by cash, cannot use CPF???

Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
Hi Guys !
How the bloody-hell are ya !! heheheh (Aussie speak) well I have not been on SBF since early 2012 I think, and at that time was getting some translation assistance from KT (how's the Tieng Viet coming Bro?) for my at-the-time GF's handphone SMS's. Some mistakes were made but it all turned out cool in the long run. I've said it before .... there are some real horror-stories of Bro's here with Viet Girls, but I'm one of those lucky few who managed to jag a good one. We are married now nearly 2 years, happy as pigs-in-shit (more Aussie speak) and have a little bloke "Alex the Dragon" born 12/12/12 <-- how awesome is that ! All I want to say is if / when you find the right Viet Girl, they love you like no other girl in the world (I was married to Fila B4), but VERY possesive. I am regularly told if I "go with any 20/21 year old girl she will cut off the con cặc", mind you I never would anyway as she is the most awesome fuck I've ever had, and continue to have. must have been all that experiance as a WL before we hooked up. So, don't give up hope guys, there are some "good'uns" out there, and if you can keep them satisfied, they don't stray (BTW, neither should you!) and eventually once you start your own family it becomes more important than her extened family back in SGN. (with the resultant reduction in costs) see ya later aligator :) PS. Also you should check out "Chi dep" - "pretty Sister" (google it) fuckin hilarious, but also a bit of truth. |
