Gong Xi Fa Cai all friends. If a Singaporean man were to marry a Vietnamese wife should he rent a house for himself and his Vietnamese wife rather than buy a HDB or private house in Singapore? If she asks why, he can give all sorts of reasons. Only about five years later when he trusts her enough he can buy a family house and include her name as one of the owners?

yes i agree..however how do u know she not patient enough NOt to wait for teh 5 yrs...i suppose u can then justify it by saying she has "worked" ofr it in that 5 yrs and thus deserving of it....whilst i prob wpould do that myself...the other half of me asks why if tehre is such trust issues from teh onset..why get married in the first place

my opinion is this is really not workable...

rental whole flat (3 room) in sinkie cost SGD 2k avg...if you pay SGD 2k per month you can own the flat if you buy 1st time new flat (can even be 4 room flat)...

why marry if dun trust the gal (any nationality and not just Viet), why dun wait to know her better before marriage...

what happen if the gal married and struggled with you for 5 years and still leave you after 5 years...

you can live in your parents flat after marriage and avoid high cost of living...marry a foreigner already not easy...why bother to go thru marriage and dealt with above...dun forget you still need to go ICA multiple trips to appy LTVP, PR, etc...

why dun you read how some of the samsters who married Viet here and find out their experiences...

I am married with my vietnamese wife for 3years 3 months and we are still living in a rental 3 room, cost $2200 per month, waiting for our BTO ready in 2 years time, trust me the financial strain is really tiring for me as only i am working and we have a baby of 2 years old.
Regardless of staying in rental or ur own home, its never possible to know what they think inside their head.
Make sure u r sure she is the right one before getting married as any change of mind will be tough for you.

I still wonder why they can flip flop their mindset in split second.

My only weapon is to ignore them, and let the vb brain play with her.

If got Facebook account I will blocked them totally.

It work like magic.

I usually got a message a few weeks later thru wechat asking "em ko gap anh FB roi, tai sao?"
