Slightly b4 cny I got a call from Bedok Police HQ, the IO asked if I know a died vietnamese man n asked me down for investigation... thot might he my wife relative, we went down. Few hours of question, finally led to maybe my ex-gf a Wl passed my address around. Lucky the white card put my old no. n he illegally stay here since 2009. So no case on me. I immediately file police report as well for ppl illegally use my info.

So guys beware!!! Dont anyhow give ur info in white card!

see i mentioned before...nothing will happen to you unless the person committed a criminal offence...in this case the offence is immigration and grossly over-staying since 2009 which can be termed as serious...:)

you are right...better dun allow any VB to use your address esp. WL...WL cannot be trusted...remember my famous quote...:)

disagreed...ICA nvr nice...just this over-stayer had not been caught...those who harbour an over-stayer will be prosecuted...Police will not tell you this info...but trouble is brewing for all the landlord(s) and those who employ him...whole incident will be thoroughly investigated...:)

The police knows who has overstay, who has committed a crime and on the run.... they will not activate the whole police to search for him/her unless it is serious crime, like murder. Assume ABC from HCMC has overstay and a red flag was raised in ICA database. U expect the police to go around every streets, "Are u ABC?" :eek:

I have a "brother" I know for 30 years whom work at custom.

A lot of case of jumping aeroplane cases are been follow up secretly if something happened. They will not knock on your door to "alarm" you.

Maybe you have already been followed for a few days and they find nothing wrong and left you alone.

Even my friend whom work in custom also been followed and investigated if something happened or some complaints been filed.

Actually I got qns the IO, why ica never report police nor come check.. she just says she dunno.. n I can lodge complain if i want.

i started getting in contact with VBs at year 1998 when JC only has 1 pub that has VBs..

until now when i have been residing in Vietnam for a period of time,i am still learning everyday...:eek:
