Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner

VB naturally short sighted, impatient, want to see instant reward and never plan for future. (unless some seniors here teach them to see long term)

Hence you give them 6 months; their true nature will surface. And that is when you can tell whether she can be your girlfriend.

For marrying I think at least 2 years together..... hence 30 months from knowing to marrying. (H88 guide me)

Cannot rush; otherwise you get into deep shit. A hole so deep you never find the bottom.

And we are in year 2014; don't need a married cert to confirm anything..... if got baby just give money let VB raise the kid.

I asked her to find out the cost and let me know but she worried I can't cope.. that is the story.

Whether to welcome more foreign investment, politically it is up to the govt to decide. More foreign guys spending money on VN gers are welcome by common ppl like me . Know a ger recently and decided to buy a bike for her, it will boast to a VN ger "wealth".

Not making fun of this, I remember yrs ago I met a VN ger and rode behind her in her PCX. Bought by her so called BF. I wonder why man loves to buy bike for VN gers.

are you sure you volunteered to buy her a bike...if she wanted a Vespa 125cc brand new and that is USD3.5k or more than 70mil Dong...Honda Vision 125cc (made in Thailand) already cost around 41mil Dong...:)

I rather donate the money to charity then to give a greedy gal...:p

U forget, we always avoiding each other. :D Beer in Vietnam is cheap if we talking about road side type.

I enjoy drinking in Vietnam. I remember in Hanoi, a glass of Hanoi draft was about 2 or 3k VND. A friend n I each brought about 10SGD worth of VND. We were very drunk at the end of the night and still had some cash back home.
