I also worry for him because we read the VN thread and he don't. He is those uncle type, he says retire in vn is good compare to Sinkieland. I don't know.

I don't know where is Vinh Long, will meet him over bia session this week, he is staying at a hotel here for 2 weeks to settle things. Will introduce to you if you like since both of you are con re of Vinh Long, but I think he don't chiong bbbj, bia om or ktv. :D:p

if its in kind of expenses....of cos the living expenses is cheaper in Ving Long if compared to Sinkie...

but well,he is the owner of a HDB flat in Sinkie whereas he is nobody in VL.

the next thing is...if its just both of them and they buy a 3 storey house..i dont know how big is the surface area..but size of houses in countryside are usually bigger as compared to those in Hcmc..hence i predict maybe his wife's family also stay together with them..therefore...his living expenses will also increase..

Vinh Long is in Mekong Delta..next to Tra Vinh and Can Tho...kakaka...:D

see lah...if time permits..we can always meet for some beers...

i also very curious in what cause ur friend to have such a big courage to make this move...

Pocket have money,retire where also good.Your friend don't know much about Vietnam or Vietnamese and dare to sell flat and go with her young BX haha.
