I have to get things straight here. This thread is about Vietnamese Life Partner, not about viet whores. If you want to go around critising everybody's post and ideas, then i will rather you not be here. So what if you have 8 years of cheonging experience under your belt? You are a 30 year old jobless Singaporean man who live off the family. I have seen too many of such kind of chaps around. So what if your family can afford to support you? A man without a career and live off the family is a failure. You like your gal and just go ahead , no one is going to care a damm bit about it. I have been in Vietnam for over 12 years, part of my business is there and i have property investments there. Even i do not dare to be that confident about Vietnam. In Singapore, i stay in condo and have other property investments. Own 2 cars (1 MPV and 1 Merc E250), both new. Don't believe? Go ask some bros here who still contact me, they know . I never yaya and you can go around pinching others on their face? Cannot accept what others say then keep your ideas to yourself. I wish you the best and i will like to see what other good stuff you can say about your gal after another year or two. Good Luck!!

I don't bother to reply his posts. His ego and his small head is blinding him. Everything we say about his bitch he think we are breaking them up.

I am sorry i dont mean any disrepect to any one out there, just voicing how i really feel. Probably i wont do that from now on in SBF, probably talking too much does not help me i suppose... thanks for the burn me in hell thing, its time for me to shut up and walk the talk and you are right maybe i am being delusional and narrow minded myself, probably i will forget about her once the time is up and the dust has settled. Thanks anyway, i am done and i should not be talking, i regret for talking too much i guess, i shall observe from afar i guess now cheers.....

since he said no stereotyping...go that thread means WL sure nothing but all the bad traits of WL...:)

if he likes the gal then ask her quit working...just be his wife...if the gal can listen and become good then there is hope...but only time will tell...all have to wait and see 2 years later...:)

My time there is very different from now. During those times, property prices were rising and many local businesses were looking for investors. From English Schools to entertainment outlet, these businesses were looking out for foreign investors. But nowadays, the scene is very different. Rental are expensive and there are not many investment opportunities for small investors. Property prices are down and stagnant. Stock market , although seems a bit better, is still far from the top it reached many years back. Bro H88 is correct, not worth investing for small time investors nowadays, unless you have millions of USD.

Few possibilities based on what you say

1) she found new ox who is richer, but not confirm. So she does not want to let you go yet
2) she testing u whether are you going to divorce and be with her

Cannot conclude any further due to my limited knowledge unless u can provide more details as how u been together or where you met her??

VB are mind games players and always would fish around same as us fishing for best deals. And have back up ban trai / ox / chong yeu nhieu nhieu. And they do exchange ideas to entrap us further

Flashback when you started cafe back in 2009...then still possible to survive then...now no more la...all those big cafes with sexy Vbs so many around D3, D5, D10...all may not even make it...:)

knew one large cafe started with 150 gals working per shift...one day 2 shifts..each gal paid basic salary 5 mil dong per month...you can imagine the overheads...but first 6 months the business was good...everyday full...but no more...business go down...now turn half of the space for pool...Vn popuar with pool table playing 4 balls without holes...:)

also makan biz also cannot do...one fren asked me can start a makan biz with SGD 20k...my advice to him...keep it and if monthly spend SGD 1k then can spend 20 mths...but if used 20k do makan biz...may not last 1-2 mths...:)

I started in HCM in 2002 and from 2002 to 2008, the economy was growing and there were many opportunities. By 2009 when my wife wanted to start the cafe, the economy was not so good roi and competition was stiff. It was a bad investment choice i made. Next thing to consider when investing in VN is whether you can be there to manage the business. Cannot trust them to run for you unless you are just one of the many investors in a business that the local has good experience running it.
