You may ask the hotel for recommendation. Normally, chinese speaking guide per day will cost between S$20 to S$40. But it also depends on how much commission the hotel takes.

Bro, sorry for the late reply. been busy flying here and there. For cheap hotels, i will recommend reasonable ones. There are very cheap ones around at Pham Ngu lao Street in Q1, but my preference is still for Bui Thi Xuan Street in Q1. many budget hotels there. You can check them out.
