Reading first 500pages do help. Go vn stay if u can for a prolong period...dun in those cities like hcm and Hanoi. Go to the province and see how they live.

Learn th language..

Never say it is easy and most important dun apply what we perceived to be sg social norm there. It does not work that way.

why need to understand..why does the black widow spinder and the female praying mantis kill and eat teh male after sex...look see react...why need to understand...we have all tried to understand curious79..why would a silly bugger fall for a WL give her 1-2-5k whatever he gave her...without haqving sex then spoend teh next 2-3mths wasiting more of his time trying to understand/schemeing revenge...thats something i dont understand either

Go live n study in VN for a long period of times or very frequent to the so called source :p

There's nothing to understand. You need to know their culture and lifestyle.
