I agreed with Volcano, not all vb wanted their Ox to support their family member. I had know several of them marry into Singapore. They worked in the morning and help out their family in Singapore but also in Vietnam but not much.

Recently, saw few Vbs selling vegetables in Teck Whye. I heard from my friend who is selling food just beside them say that these vb are really hardworking. They came to work as early as 4am. It was so hard to believe in the 1st place but my friend know one of the Ox who is the stall holder.

Like what H88 mentioned, there are exceptions still. All depends on their upbringing, expectations and what they have been exposed to. Those exposed to the life of working oversea and easy money would have different expectation s.

well,then u should not say "they expect their ox to feed the extended family."

there are good and bad in all nationalities

and as per i have stressed endless times...why compare a WL with a normal VB...of cos there are also exception where WLs end up to be gd life partner..i have seen several cases where the ex WL did not request her ox to feed her family.

p:s i think its best if everyone stick to the thread title...no point to discuss topic where its a new fling with ktv hostess etc

Not all have better life when married oversea. Many do suffer also.
They are just betting to get better life, some lost some win.
i.e. read many news about vb married to Korea and Taiwan, treated like slave and flee back to vn.
