I tot so to .. I used to give her $500 per month . She was getting by well with her job. After she lost her job , I gave her a sub card of $500 credit to check what she spends on.. the bulk of it are on spa to upkeep herself. The rest on foods and clubs .

it's only recent she ask for $1000 in cash with the $500 sub card.citing her bank loan for parent house is 30k to 40k outstanding.

Sometime even if want believe, also must use a bit of brain. How will a bank loans to a poor family 30-40k or even more to buy property? Just try n walk to any POSB/UOB or any finance n say, I want to loan 100k to buy property and bank will ask u, u have this n that? If no, politely they will say, your application for loan is denied... in other words, "f off".

Her family member in her hometown seems to be quite well to do. One of the uncle is working as a police chief another is able to Open a couple of shops and clubs . And she was working in one of the shop selling pirated dvds. Until the uncle sold it off to manage other business.

Typical storyline:
She mentioned only her parent are the less fortune one in the family clan due to her dad having an accident hence not able to continue working.and she wanted to make their life better. The bank loan is under her dad name.

I always told her I got less than $500 left after giving her and paying for all the bills including ticket to visit her..
