Based on how I see the circle of friends with VietBu .. my advice is gradually pick up the basics of what you need to converse and listen.. then slowly learn and ask her if you not sure.. it will benefit you alot in the long run .. even when you travel back with her and still survive out there amongst the locals

I heard of this and quite common teachings among the local ktv scene whereby the seniors will teach their new comers to marry to a Singaporean and apply LTVP, then PR...once PR the gal legally can stay in Singapore without hubby then divorce...regardless have kids by then...:)

Actually the teachings were...get a few bfs an deach gives certain monthly allowances, new iPhones handbags, gifts...etc...then choose one who keen to marry her...:)

Not all lar; only some of them are such. You can see so many of them working with their husband in Markets; food stall nowadays. There are good and bad vb. Lucky; you get the good one suffer with you. Suay get those just wanna get PR. More Suay Kena gong tao by vb.

ya know a couple of ktv ex mamasan.
after marry local guy here
quit the scene totally and went to open food stall / small restaurant. quite good business.
Of course these are rare, dont bet on it.
Why mamasans? Because they are getting old and they know their time in this scene is limited.
