Yes. I met her there. At that night, many VN girls came to talk to me because they had no customers and felt bored. Hanh is the prettiest one and she is shy so I like her a lot.

Well, I don't know whether my girl told me the truth or not. I also doubted how can she be arrested like that? Maybe she was soliciting a customer at that time, and that customer happened to be a plaincloth cop. This is just my theory, but I didn't try to dig out the truth.

Another way to look at this sentence could be "Brother (addressing u), I m working as police in VN catching criminals, but I come singapore get caught by police here". Therefore, sms can also be misleading :D :p ;)

The best is to clarify with the person thru conversation.

City’s five-star hotels offer half-price rates

A two-month promotion, which offers Vietnamese guests half price room rates for the first night at some five-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City, will run from the beginning of September, the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced August 28.

The six five-star hotels taking part in the promotion include the Windsor, Majestic, Rex, Renaissance Riverside, Caravelle and Sheraton.

According to Tao Van Nghe, chairman of HCMC Hotels Association, the hotels will present their discounts based on their operations and room capacity during the promotional period.

Visitors are required to book rooms seven days in advance.

Got a call from a gal who dun know much english. Dun know how to go to the correct gate for boarding. On the ticket is C17 but she went to D.... Spoke to the staff in Changi Airport, and they volunteer to lead the gal from D to C17... So sporean still quite helpful and friendly :D :p ;)

So if YOUR GAL is 1st timer to sgp and cant speak much english, it would be much appreciated (from her) that u can send her or direct her the correct route, else if missed the flight then its very pitiful :(
