em phai lo dong hoc phi,du thu hoc phi het.vat va qua= i have to pay for school fee, there is lots of fees, so hard/difficult!

em mong sao cho som ra lam de khoi lo van de tien= i wish i graduated soon so that i dont have to worry about money

van de ve tien lam em cam thay chan qua!= finance difficulty makes me tired!

Agreed!! You need to know the context of your OWN conversation with your girl! Takes a lot of effort but trust me, when effort is put in, you will remember the words more...and the best thing is it stays in you head forever.

I still remember i used to click on ALL the available options for a vn word just so to find one that best fits into the sentence. Very very tedious!! but then again, in the process, you will not only learn the word you are looking for but also some other regularly used words in the process.;)

I believe this was how bro Jackbl and i started learning....:D

Yes, that is what I always did for the last 5 years since 2004 and I still do that even now. For example, there are many similar 'co' words with different Latin tonal marks as shown below.

cố | cỗ | cổ | cô | cọ | có | cỏ | cò | co | cơ | cờ | cỡ | cớ

You will have to read the context and see which one is suitable and make sense.
