Oh my shop is VERY near to the stretch of little HCM.. :D its behind 155 just opposite of the big carpark.

Wa.. This program good.. Watch the 1st match at Mask then come over to watch the 2nd match of the night.. But the sad thing is there are no girls to ogle at.. you can bring your own though.. ;)

Heard unofficial black market rate is $1 = 130,000 VND

I think there is a typo in your post. Either it is
1) SGD$1 = 12,400 VND or 2) SGD$10 = 124,000 VND

Exact sentiments. BKK is not competitive these days. Nevermind by the time they realise it the bubble will burst and all hell breaks lose. :p

Nonetheless if Vietnam progresses rapidly and catches up with Thailand. The cheap cheonging days will be gone forever. Let's enjoy it while it lasts. Just like the old Bangkok days. :)

If you read the newspaper on economic progress on vietnam, its on a reverse gear now. Nothing seems right of the economy. The vietnam Dong is reflecting the downturn of Vietnamese economy. Futures contract for Vietnam Dong is trading at around 30,000 VND to US$1

Yes, u are right to say that its good for cheongsters. As for most business, their main currency for transaction is USD. So actually better. ;)
