I just came back from HCM today, Out of 100, 97 cannot speak, 2 can speak Chinese or English (mostly in Service Industry) only 1 can speak better but still not so fluent.. How to find 1 really suits you? This goes to Me and m Wife, Communication Barrier in the beginning, but now also quite poor in her English, dun know how to speak out or explain clearly but get angry and become hot tempered liao.. How to live together long? I expect not more than 5 years unless she can communicate better and become less hot tempered..

I hope your marriage can last. Best wishes.

No one can tell what tomorrow will bring, but we ourselves can surely determined if we want to face it positively or negatively in respect to a relationship and life itself

Thanks again for patiently reading my story.

Best wishes to you two...:)

I had my fair share of local gal holding decent job walk out of a relationship for a BBD (Bigger Better Deal), so i dun buy the story of finding your own kind, but i acknowledge the risk of cultural shock it carries being with an other nationality partner.
Perhaps to have gone this far I would have classified myself as to be a risk-taker, more so being with a viet gal. But if I want to love and be constantly in fear of being used, then I should go back to being lonely and confused.

Thanks again for patiently reading my story.

I hope the last sentence will bring you through the coming 2 months and the years to come. When the going gets tough, just remember of the words you wrote and brace forward !!

Next episode is probably in a month time. I just spoke to her today. Heck.., in fact we spoke a few time over the phone today, since from lunch time until just now. Later on 11pm SGT will call again.

To wait 2 months we cannot tahan. Thus the choice was if we follow the initial arrangement of getting her here in 2 months time, then next month i will fly to her place, but only obstacle is Sept we have a major project (F1) at work so cannot confirm enough. Btw, she is from Ha Tien - Kien Giang.
We googled for the map and Ha Tien is right at the bottom of Vietnam, and Hanoi is right at the top.

So do gals from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City needs to be desperate enough to come SG, Macau or HK to work? I dun know and did not want to ask. Perhaps some bros who are well travelled and verse in Vietnam enviroment can enlighten me.

Ekemono,

Good luck to both of you in future. Hope things will turn out fine for you.

Most girls will be very desperate to work in foreign countries when they do not have enough money and have to support their poor families. But not all of them are working ladies. I have a Vietnamese friend who is currently working as a waitress in a casino in Macau and she is earning good salary. :)
