Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner
thks for the reply, actually i'm starting to get interested in vietnamese language and culture after getting involved with a vietnamese lady. No sex, we're just friends. But there's something i find it puzzling after "studying" this thread for the past few days.
When i did a lookup, it seems that the average vietnamese only earn an average USD$100 working as a bank teller. Senior positions probably will fetch between USD$200 - 400. Which in comparsion with a WL earning USD$100-200 per night. With the average vietnamese family often rely on their daughters as the sole breadwinner, does that means they encourage their daughters to work as a WL ? IF that's the case, how many percent of vietnamese born females are working in this line. Is that becoming of how their current society works ? |

"The average monthly salary for an experienced doctor at a public hospital is around 1,600,000 dong (US$100). A nurse earns 800,000 dong (US$50) per month." "The average annual salary in Vietnam is no more than 8 million dong (US$500) per year." According to this report, how does the average vietnamese worker afford a house which can easily cost USD$100k |
