What is 'bi sot quyet nan'?

yesterday night i called my galfriend by her 'free logder' friend answer the call and tell me that my galfriend is admitted to hospital at 2pm in the afternoon.

at 4pm today, she called me and tell she got stomach pain so she was admitted to hospital. All this while, she always has stomach pain but i always think that it is becoz of menstration. Tonight, i had a conversation with her again and she say that the doctor diagnosed that she got 'sot quyet nan' and its been very long already. She suppose to stay in hospital for close examination, but due to $ and hot weather, she requested to go home. Tomorrow she got to go back to the hospital for check up.

Through the conversation, I somehow understand that there is some blood clot and she is given some medicine. If tomorrow or next few days still got pain, she will need to go for operation to remove the blood clot.

Really cannot understand what is 'sot quyet nan'... how serious is this sickness i also dun know. :(:(:(

The weather in HCMC is very bad; very hot(34 - 40 degree C) with
intermittant heavy downpours. No news of serious dengue outbreak,
many(especially kids) came down with high fever and a nasty cough.

1) Is it better if she is age older around 25?
never worked? only help parents with in farm and around the house?
speaks vietnamese only?

or

2) younger than 25?
worked in shoe/clothing factory?
speaks vietnamese only?

or

3) younger than 25?
worked in city and speaks some chinese/english?

Your opinions please,
Thank you

Tay Ninh is north west of HCMC. Viet marriage agency probably shifts its
bride selection to Tay Ninh because of the frequent raids by HCMC police.

If I were you, I will choose (3). Just make sure she is not a HCMC WL.
Good luck.

I think the doctor in VN any how diagnose one. Yes, my galfriend runs a high fever of 40 deg. I read through the signs and symptoms of dengue, don't seems to apply leh. No cough also. The incubation period range form 3 to 15 days, but my galfriend had a on-off stomach for months liao.

I am waiting for her to update me again. :(

If can trust vietnam doctors, then the rich in VN no need to fly to Singapore roi. Rich Vietnamese normally come to Raffles Hospital in Singapore for treatment. The TIEN SI BAC SI (PhD Doctors or Specialist Doctors) in VN are mostly trained in Russia and these Russian Trained Doctors will train the normal doctors in VN. ;)
