i remembered following my wife to visit a relative at Cho ray Hospital at Q5 in 2005. I saw rats running about and the toilet was really very very bad. Actually wanted to pee but after looking at the toilet, i endured. Will rather wet my pants than wet my shirt because of puking ;)

Now, there's an air-con foreigners' section with relatively clean toilet. It's facing the main entrance & car park.

I have one advice - keep a photocopy of your passport, someone's name card to contact in case of emergency(or the hotel biz card) with you when you go out for your walkabout in HCMC.

When there's an accident, and the victim is unconscious, the "vultures"
will clean out anything valuable. Even if a kind soul called an ambulence
for you, with no money(cleaned out) and ID, you'll be left at one corner at the A&E of Cho Ray Hospital.

Im going to HCMC next friday to visit a girl. This girl is my friend's baxa(WL) cousin. Shes not a WL. Hopefully the weather there will not be too hot.

Hopefully i can visit their war remnants museum too.
