Always misunderstood in these ways:

(1) Spent money to BUY a vietnamese wife as you are of low income group and cannot find a singapore wife

(2) You BUY a vietnamese wife because you are of low income group, low education and UGLY

(3) Your vietnamese wife is a hooker and con you to marry her so that she can stay in Singapore

Sickening....

To most Sinkaporeans, Filipina/Indonesian=maids, and Thai=pros.:D

That is what I get from my work place when I join them. Those that are courteous enough won't comment on that instance but you can tell from their "shocked" looks and expression. And those more outspoken will ask how you met her? And those that didn't like your face will ask how much you paid for her?

I even heeard from a Pinoy gal at my workplace that asked why I must resort to marrying a viet wife? KNN.. viet gal is not human eh

You should ask the pinoy gal...`marrying a viet gal better than marrying a pinoy because at least my viet gal will not call any lady she meets as MUM and every man she meets as SIR. What makes me feel better is that i don't need to hear talk about DAM-MON-STRA-SIAN'

if brothers start to wonder what is DAM-MON-STRA-SIAN, its the pinoy version of DEMONSTRATION

Aiya, my company also .... when i say i getting married with a vietnamese, their expression shows me they are thinkning something funny in their mind!!! Cannot blame them as there are too many WL in geylang.... Singaporean always find vietnamese very LC ( low Class )!!!! They haven visit vietnam, I feel that the gals be it WL or the rich 1s at disco eg. Volcano, Last time MGM, palace... the gals are alot more prettier then the clubbers in singapore nitespot like zouk , dragonfly etc...

For a start, if anyone askme, I always say I bought my wife for $15000 5 years ago when the trade was booming!!!:D

Then they'll know that I am fucking against streotypes and that it doesn't matter to them...so why ask?

Normally it works!!!:D:D

At the end of the day, these obnoxious people's comments does not affect me one bit! I dun lose a dollar or ean an extra one....so it does not affect me...

Perhaps the only lesson learnt from their stereotyping is the quality of useful grey matters - or the lack of it - in their head.

Cheers to all bros with vn wives and gfs!!!;)

nop, actually till now ang mo still term Chinese as Chinese from china in western countries....
no Singapore Chinese, no Taiwan Chinese, no HK chinese, etc.

But high class or low class depends how you show yourself...pple says a lot of things when they heard this and that. But actually don't you realise even u marry a sg gal, pple will still compare here and there? There is no end because this is today's society.
