Sorry typo error, its under the bridge area. On the far right hand side of hdy railway station. Lots of people go there bao plastic and get amulet related stuff.

Hi,

Recently went to a thai temple near sengkang. The temple sell amulets and there is a monk chanting for wordshippers.

Can we trust the amulets to be genuine ones? Like a somdej costs around $30 to $80/-. They even have the namecard of the monk who creaed the somdej.

I am looking to buy one somdej. Doesnt matter who so long as its genuine and wear for safety and business. I lost my old one afew months back, so this is a replacement.

Can advise? Thanks!

There got a dog they keep and a chinese temple beside right? If they have the namecard of the monk who created, u must also check yourself if is true. because there are some amulets which are donated by people, so you have to check with them whether they import it themselves exclusively or donated items. donated ones they also sell there not just for people to see only. if is their exclusive amulets which can only be found there new ones, mostly is real lor. donated ones, they may not even be sure who made it....if the donor anyhow put a name there, they won't know..
