Hi all, I received this email from ICA:

Dear Mr XXX,

Please refer to your feedback on 26 Apr 2010.

2 We would like to clarify that the entry of visitors to Singapore is subject to prevailing immigration entry requirements. Travellers who do not meet these requirements will be refused entry at the Immigration Checkpoints. As with most countries, entry into Singapore is not automatic and each case is considered on its own merit. As part of our security clearance process, officers may conduct secondary checks which can include interviews and further screening where necessary

3 Our investigation showed that Ms XXX was assessed to be ineligible for the issuance of a visit pass under the current immigration policies. The decision was conveyed to her by the ICA Duty Officer who had also issued her with a Notice of Refusal of Entry.

4 If Ms XXX wishes to visit Singapore in future, she is advised to submit an application for a Visit Pass prior to her arrival through a local sponsor in Singapore to the Visitor Services Centre, 4th Storey, ICA Building, 10 Kallang Road, Singapore 208718 for our consideration.

Has anybody encounter this & have to apply a visit pass from your bx? Is the application smooth? Will they still reject the application? Thanks

I have.

The answer is if you (in general... not referring to you per se) are willing to sponsor her, likely she'll get through. But if she's caught working, then you die along with her... or even worse.

Hi,

I know a few VBs who are banned from coming to singapore because the so-called boyfriend they have indicated in the DE card is lawfully married.

My bx was called into office and question her about me, they mentioned to her "Lucky you know your boyfriend is divorced, if not I sent you back to Vietnam Now".

Recently, I applied and appeal for visitor pass for buddy's gf, she was banned from singapore for 1 yr because her so-called bf is married. I have been applying pass for her for the pass 6 mths and it has been rejected twice, appealed again then ask for many documents and subsquently rejected again.

So end of the day, please pray hard VBs never get caught, elseI guess is bye bye Sillypore.

Now i become expert in applying pass for VBs ... hahahahha ....

I met 1 SBF bro at the airport while waiting for a vb to arrive. He brought his girlfriend in... of course after being questioned for long hours.

ICA called his wife...

Just be truthful about everything... it will not b a problem.

not true. Caught but still can come in after ban period.
Need guarantor and be truthful in all declaration.

I guess working and got caught one still can come in after ban, but then come in here with so-called boyfriend probably a bit difficult.

This girl I told you about, they let her comes in with her so-called bf the first time, then next trip she came alone and still declare him as so-called bf, then was summoned to the office for questioning and before she was sent back, they ask her "why u come here, you know you boyfriend is married, why come here and break the family", then issue here a refuse entry letter, and thats it ....

so still appying and appealing ,, they want many many documents, like household booklet, income declaration, etc and has to to fully translated into english, spent $300+ to translate at VN embassy. Now still pending.

3 case to share:

1. My bx's friend, while walking from home @ GL 40 to work @ M1, was caught by police and sent back within 4 days .... guessed to be banned entering here for the next 1 yr ...

2. I have a VB who's declared bf have some troubles with the police, so she was also refused entry.

3. I also have a VB who declared bf divorced already but the when they call her bf, they found out that his wife who is a thai ran away and is under seperation, not divorced yet, also refused refused entry.


Guessed you are the lucky chap and bring luck to ur VB, whereas others are not so lucky or fortunate .... cheers :)

Meet up with you for drinks next time .... hopefully you don't mind a stranger sitting, TCSS and drink with you ... hahahhha ...

but I did some work before I bring my galfriend back to sillypore. i.e apply for visit pass (although reject), email ICA with some general questions, corresponse with ICA and many more...

From your description of the 3 cases... seems like these vb are here to work and not really a serious galfriend.

Many vb thought that they write a certain address and handphone of their "boyfriend" on the DE card means that the "boyfriend" is a guarantor and they are able to come in...

They thought that ICA so free to call the "boyfriend" or guarantor in this way.

I fill in the DE card for 2 spies. They are rejected entry and ICA never call their so call "boyfriend" :)

Some points I discover when my galfriend is here in Sillypore with me for the past 2 weeks:

Good:
1) Cook dinner for me
2) Wait for me to come back from work before eating dinner.
3) iron all my clothes in my wardrobe
4) never allow me to dry my clothes after wash or keep/fold clothes when dry... tell me its job of woman
5) massage me, dig my ears, cut my nails
6) accompany my mum

Bad:
1) control my smoking (colaborate with my mum)
2) control my time watching TV and surf internet
3) control my time to drink kopi (after hearing complain from my mum always go Joo Chiat)
4) cannot surf porno :p
5) cannot call other viet babe at night while she is with me
6) Sleep early (before 12am which I do not have such habit)

This seems to be standard letter...really meant the gal had lived here longer than 90 days in a year as a tourist...and need sponsor to remain staying here..."suspect her of illegal working"...otherwise how come Singapore got so many tourist spot for her to visit...my 2 dongs worth...:)

Bro KT...you are really too much...your bx treat you so well and yet you complained...do you know how many brothers will trade their existing gf or bx for yours...please la...be contented and treat her well...:)
