If you ask me, take all with a pinch of salt.There is a old saying in the amulet world..."what works for me, might not work for you.."

Sometimes is because of the impression that it would also work for the individual that cause people to church out hugh amount to get it...only to find that it does not work as they expected and then they start to blame dealers / monks and so and and so forth...

Are you referring to LP Amnard's Mermaid amulet? If ask me, stay with Khun Paen...more conventional..
