They have this idea that once they have baby with the singaporean man, the singaporean man will marry them and they will be assured of residence status in Singapore and also regular income to their family members in the province. But after marrying here, they realised that life in singapore is actually worse off then vietnam. Every month need to worry about money, and the amount they can send back to their family members is quite miserable also. With their hopes dashed after some time, some will give up and go back Vn.

No doubts aboout it. Unless the husband can really earn above average salaries, or else life is really tough. Everything is on the rise, Electricity tariff just rose 6.5%, making it the highest in 2 1/2 years. Petrol also over $2 a litre now, plus all other things all getting expensive.

But i do know of couples who stay with their parents and the parents are paying for almost everything, so they don't feel the pinch at all. Damm no pride. :rolleyes:

I 100% agree with you, otherwise our children will not be able to afford HDB flats. The prices of flats keep rising, expenses high etc.. etc.. better spend my money in Vietnam.

If the girl tells you she's pregnant, there's no way for us to confirm the baby's ours. If we marry her during her pregnancy and then subsequently discover the kid isn't ours, WOW... women's charter hard to run away from. I suppose if they are scheming enough, they won't mind having sex with many men (after we have had sex with them) in order to get pregnant. Danger indeed.

no danger at all. Once a vb tell you she is pregnant, just tell her to go for abortion. very cheap to do it in vn. :)

I don't think any bro should marry a viet gal just because she claims that she's pregnant with yr child. There are several factors to consider before this commitment;

(1) Are you ready to give up your cheonging life and settle down?
(2) Are you ready to face the same lady daily for the rest of your life? any beautiful lady that you may have now may turn to be the opposite a few years after marriage
(3) Are you financially stable? Most sensitive but most sensible question. Will you be ready to feed her and the child? Do you have even the most basic of a few thousand dollars for her delivery? After delivery, the money for diapers, milk etc
(4) Are you ready to be responsible for her and the child? Marriage is not child's play, happy marry, not happy, divorce.

Most importantly, are you sure the child she's carrying is yours? :D
