Thanks for your help. I called the same thing but the phone not on or something like tat. Wondering if the call she gave me yesterday was to inf me regarding that. Guess I just have to wait for her to call again.

Many thanks!!

My advice is to cease all contact. She has her own life back home and I'm sure you don't want to be part of it.

Dear bro,

the key is to give them a reason to allow her entry.

another way is I always will go the the counter before my girl and show the officer both our passport, I will explain that she will be with me. At the same time, I write a simple letter to explain our relationship with a copy of my ic so that she show anyone in the event that she might still have to go to office.

note the key point to put in the letter is that "I will be responsible for her stay and repatriation."

Yes brother, very good advice you give.

In the letter, I would also put that if they need security bond, I can provide. Also put ID of my mother & brothers for their references as her gurantee to reponsible for her stay here........... :)

the first time i brought my girlfriend over, i did what you did by giving them 2 passport but was told "1 by 1"

after processing mine, i was told to wait far far away while my girlfriend was escorted to office.

i waited very long, standing, squarting, standing, squarting. waiting for the office to call me but nothing happen. lucky a high ranking custom officer aunty saw me while she walk pass. asked me is it i am waiting for friend in office and asked for her name. 5 min after she go to the counter outside office talk talk, my girlfriend came out.

no guarantee...any entry is at the discretion of ICA officer...:)

I'll place a bet on it being 90-120 days within a year, more than that confirm reject entry on the same passport...

and that extra 30 days (after 90) is if you extend on your last entry, meaning first two times cannot extend. its a loophole I think cos you can extend online

this applies to all nationalities

Does the Women's Charter apply to marriages with foreign wives, if they are on LTVP and if they are on PR? Are they allowed, as a holder of LTVP, to take ownership of a HDB flat? or will the family court order the sale and transfer 50% of your CPF monies used to pay for the HDB flat to a LTVP holder?

Hope the learned brothers of this thread can clear some light on this issue.
