Be patient. Demand for KTV is going down and supply of girls have increased significantly. Soon those GCPs would need to start reducing ST / LT prices. Offer whatever amount you feel is fair - if they accept great, if they don't just smile and say thanks but no thanks.

I don't expect tips to decrease to $50 pre-covid days levels but the takeout prices is entirely negotiable.

What's their reason for 100 tip? I feel 50 is a fair value

I don't know if you guys have the same sentiments. There are quite a number of viet girls who are first time here on short term visit pass, and they are just here for 3-4 weeks and go back. Might or might not come back again as they are just here to try try as they heard from their friends a lot of money to be made here.

Typically these type of girls playability are lower. Because they know they are just here for this short stint, won't care much about return customers. They also dont want too many people to know that they were here to work in ktv.

And the lao jiao who are here long enough, most of the good ones are being "bao-ed" by some rich boyfriends outside because most of them became scarce and precious commodities during the covid lockdown period. So they also tone down on their playability so that they wont be caught out by their so called boyfriends.

All culminating in the current state of things. This is what I feel from my recent visits to Empire and Dmax

Pre-covid: We are the kings. Supply more than demand and all the girls do anything to get our money

During covid: Both supply and demand dries up. Become alot of exclusive deals with boy-girl friends type of arrangements

Post covid: Old batch either got local boyfriends, those without got sent back. New batch are just here to grab quick easy money, dont care about service level since they might not be back.

I concur with most of your statements. But also on the other hand, i think the girls that are here for short stints easier to "convince" for ST as you have also mentioned their "priority" is money. Playability definitely lower in the room like you mentioned, especially if they are first timers in the ktv scene unless you can KC them.

Those laojiao like you mentioned tend to have their regular rounds of customer/rich boyf bao them.

May also be where you go for your parties. Empire imo relatively "cleaner" place so playability generally lower as compared to your likes of Supreme, k2, lvl9 and what not.
The girls themselves know that certain places have certain expectations from the customers.

With tips at $100 and work permit, s-pass not rising by alot,($1800 - $3500 now) long term girls also don't need to work that hard. last time $50 already can earn $8-10k a month easily, now $100, paying for rent and their card is just a fraction of their income.

keep in mind on some days, they are also forced to work by their boss and don't really get rest, so all these contribute to a lower standard.

I would wish for $50 tips to come back. Makes my money stretch much further. :D

But objectively speaking I just don't see this happening as inflationary pressures are everywhere and more critically there is no incentive for the operators to reduce price. You would need a few of the large clubs to go down to that price level and the others follow. Empire tried it before the clubs open and they had a severe backlash with some of the more prominent mummies threatening to bring their girls elsewhere. The first club that brings that their price would see an exodus of girls.

Dun think tips will go back to $50 like our electricity bill. And also 3 session here to stay.

Why gals think singapore better to work than dubai or Malaysia?
1 is our currency
2. We are much more law abiding than those 2 places.
3 we dun play so much drugs in our ktv


Hence we become major import market for vb. Current permit batch in will be here till end of year. Then min 1 year to see them again due to the permit requirement.

We can say whether on price etc yet past few days I seen full house session 2 and 3 lot of places. Why I know I went 1 week almost everyday drinking at ktv. So play within your budget or go oversea. No use complaining or asking boycott. These are in minority. Why I say?

We singaporean like complain then when come to push, we still pay. So rather be happy as quality now much much better in April when ktv reopen.

Now Jus a simple trip down with maybe one partner will naturally set you about $250 without happy endings.
Sometimes higher if heavy drinker.
