but those that worked in sg ktv or even vn ktv, then that figures becomes peanuts

sg ktv girls, one night by sitting, assume 2 tables per session, they can make $500 a night (assume half price for HH). If they open leg, then another $500 a night. One month work 25 days, that’s $12.5k to $25k a month. Minus rent and spass, still make $8-20k monthly.

vn ktv, same logic but they probably make 1/3 the price but no rent and passes. So around $4-8k a month minimum

I think the key, is to understand the girl's background and her motivation for coming to SG, whether she was on WP or SPass before or only a holiday girl. I think we are both experienced enough to understand, what all this means for the girl's motivations and how much she is willing to do to earn the money she needs.

In my friend's case, he chanced upon a "holiday girl" who was at her wits' end and needed some quick money for her mother's hospital bills. She had just broken up with her long time Viet bf, so coming to SG on a holiday visa and trying to out KTV seemed like a low risk venture for her. In VN she works as a VJ in a club, and she enjoys her work there. She also works in an Event Management company.

She did earn enough in her first month here (around $10k nett, after expenses working 3 shifts at Supreme for a month, strictly no short-time), but she also found that she really could compete with the younger girls. Being a "normal" VN city girl with no intention of working full time in KTV, she knew from the start that her time here is very limited and can be cut short anytime. I am honestly envious of the treatment my friend gets from his gf, but I am happy that they found each other, even under extremely unfavourable circumstances.
