Haha. I think I didn't make myself clear. There are windows and door, but no window panels and no door frame. Simply , just openings for windows and doors .

Remind me of a incident that happen 7 years ago while i was in vietnam.I was there for almost one month that time and usually i will have my breadfast at one of the cafe.

Every morning i will see a young girl wearing her vietnamese traditional hat (those cone type) and carrying her newspaper to approach or walk around the street to sell.as the place i was staying is mostly ang mo,she sell mostly foreign media newspaper.i always smile at her and use my hand to signal to her that i dont want.

On my last day,as my flight back to sg was afternoon,so as usual i sat there and eat something before going to the airport.i saw her again and as i was going back to sg,i was thinking of giving her some of my dong,should be around 30k dong to her to help her.

i signal her for her to come over,she happily came.Then i pass her the dollars,she show me all the papers and signal to me which paper i want.i use my hand to signal to her that i dont need the paper and she can keep the money.she seem like dont understand and insist me on choosing that paper i want.i signal to her again and smile at her that she can keep the money.

she put back my money on the table and left quickly feeling disappointed.i sat there and was thinking why she did not accept my money.my thinking of her is she is selling her newspaper and she will only accept my money if i took the newspaper or else she dont want my money..i come to realised that she have pride and dignity even though she know she is poor.

btw she is pretty and cute,now should be 20 plus.i hope she is well now,either
marry,working,schooling or with her family.i did not see her after i went back 1
month later:D or else maybe she is my wife now:p

most of their house i have been to is those either 3 or 4 storey high.their door is fix with iron grill with the window.the window can be open but the iron grill is fix to the wall not like sg one can slide open.

i was thinking if i stay in the room,i will confirm burn to die if there is a fire at my room door,as i cannot escape.my wife told me is to prevent ppl come in and steal things as that are a lot of theft.

Look like prison to me if the room is small:D

i did the same thing to a little girl in hcm. at first she try to sell chewing gum but i say i dun wan. then my gf say 10k dong only help her la (vnmese gang up???) then i buy. but later i gv the chewing gum back to the little girl. she say thank you and run off :confused: doesnt seem to help at all...:o

1. Has any one come across Vietnamese keeping guns in their houses? (A repeat question).

2. Is it possible that Vietnamese girls bribe and buy a genuine Vietnamese passport and enter/reenter Singapore?

3. Which province(s) has the most beautiful Vietnamese brides? Which province(s) have the most obedient Vietnamese brides?

Bro SingViet. I know you slowly managed to convince your Vietnamese wife to put your children, herself and yourself first but I find trying to convince women to change their minds nigh impossible. You must pat yourself on your back.

(1) keeping guns in their house is illegal by vietnamese law, unlesss the person is a Con An (Police). But smuggling of pistols across the boarder from Cambodia to Vietnam is very common. and pistols are cheap and readily available in Cambodia. There are quite a lot of gangsters in HCMC who are armed.

(2) Its possible for Vietnamese gals to bribe and get another passport. If you know the agent who can do this, its just a matter of money. In Vn, anything is possible with $$$$.

(3) There's no specific province with the most beautiful and obedient gals. every province will say their gals are the prettiest. Its just who you meet that melts your heart and is able to spend a lifetime with you.

Its highly possible to change the mindset of your wife, if you have the patience to explain to her thru a period of time. But of course, your wife must have the willingness to learn and accept new things and thinking. Most vietnamese are quite stubborn and insist on their vietnamese way of doing things, this is the way they were educated and brought up. But patience and understanding will change her thinking. :)

Actually there are a lot of sweet and pretty gals in Vietnam. Most of the time, looking at them is quite a pleasure. ;)
