i only heard of Vietnamese coming over to Singapore for medical treatment bcos they dun trust doctors in Vietnam.but ur case its the other way round...:confused:

probably he needs a good + sg qualified gynae who speaks well vietnamese so that the wife can communicate and get information accurately from the doctor.

so in other words... a female vietnamese gynae who is allowed to practice in sg fits the bill.

on top of that... can hv some bonus from the female vn gynae, if possible... :D

Cannot the gynea communicate in english or chinese to the husband then the husband translate to the wife?
Unless the wife only knows TV n the husband dun know TV. Then different story roi.

I checked the Singapore Medical Association register...sorry dun have Vietnamese gynae practising in Sinkie...:p

dun think they qualified or recognised to practise here...:p

i need to find a Vietnamese Gynaecologist, so she can talk to my wife well. cos my wife cannot understand english well. they very stubborn, only Vietnamese Gynaecologist can make them understand well. now my wife only like drink red bull and eat alot MSG. i really dun know how to explain how MSG and red bull no good to them now.

Stubborn or "head hard" is typical character of Vietnamese gals.

actually they do know which is good and bad,but choosing the right one is another matter.

u need lots of communication and "brain washing" ur wife before she can be "pure" a bit.

i have been "brain washing" mine for the past few years but sadly to say that i am only half way through.

try to be patient with her as she is pregnant now.

1 thing to add is we cannot change them completely cos is in their blood already.Mine at least now will listen to what i say and also maybe i also change a bit of my character so she also give in a bit.Sometime she still stubborn but i just close one eye cos at least now she bother to listen to my explaination

u just marry?she understand a bit of chinese?seem like u cant 'control' her.Actually u dont have to spend so much money to see a gynaecologist,is not cheap compare to a normal GP,just because of this.

Talk to her and if u can find info on this from internet,show it to her if is from a vietnamese website so that she know how to read.Be extra patient during this period cos pregnant woman tend to have a lot of mood swing during this period so u got to endure

Accurate of cos difficult lah as my TV half pail water. Wat i meant was if the wife dun know simple english or chinese and the husband dun know simple TV, then its hard to understand wat is trying to put across liao. But still u can always relate in simple english or chinese if yur wife understands simple english or chinese.

Great thread. Have always been a silent reader. Just wanted to share some info, there are Singapore doctors who have a license to operate both in Singapore and Vietnam. The one I know is an on oncologist (cancer) doctor who does fly to Vietnam to treat patients. So if anyone needs a good oncologist in Vietnam, there is another option besides flying the patient to Singapore if you need good treatment.
