Bring her out to eat, since u mentioned last yr she spent it at home. but not hawker centres lah. Somewhere within yur budget loh, like some restaurants in some shopping centres dun have to be too high class one. Start with something low, so nxt time there is chance for improvement. If u 1st time bring her to expensive restaurants, next time have to bring her to even higher ones. :D
Like bro shysaint said she is yur wife, only u know what she likes. We can suggest fancy things, but if she dont like also no use.
So start cracking some brains! :D

Re: Understanding Vietnamese Life Partner

For the 9 years i have been with my wifey, her birthday has always been something personal and simple. When i was staying in Saigon, i remember i will bring my wife to a 5 star hotel for a buffet dinner for her birthday. It will be followed by a birthday cake and 99 roses at home. She's always quite happy with that arrangement. 2 years ago, my wife's birthday was a day she will remember for the rest of her life. It was the day i was admiited to FV Hospital at Q7 at HCM. It was also the day when i was admitted for emergency surgery. My wife told me she was very afraid then as the specialist neurosurgeon told her that i may be paralysed from waist down. She spent her birthday waiting outside the operation theatre in anxiety.

Its good to create some atmosphere for celebration for your ba xa's birthday. After you have a few kids, its really difficult to create that type of romantic ambience for birthdays. :D

Yes .. it's called Long Phuong ...

I always eat there too ... BUT I still prefer the 1st restaurant on the same row before LP.
