nobody will be able to give u an exact answer.price of house depends on where is the place.e.g HCMC,outskirt of HCMC,province city, province village, house at main road, house at intersection of 2 roads etc.

u can build a small small rectangular house in province village for 5k usd,but that same small small rectangular house can be 100k usd if its in District 1 of HCMC.

little advice to u,you seems young and very green regarding matters concerning Vietnam and Vietnamese gals.do give yourself a few years to understand the culture and mind set of Vietnamese before u commit anything.some of the incidents mention in this thread seems scary, but that's true if u met the wrong partner.there is bound to be black sheep in every place or country including Singapore.

i do know of several foreigners who just marry her wife alone but not her whole family but i also do know people who actually marry the whole ancestor tree.

for my case,i am happy and lucky enough to just marry my wife alone and no one else.....:)

wish u good luck and welcomes u to the world of VBs.....:)

What you guys think and read from the below conversation

KT - My wife's LTVP is still pending, so i am here to further extend her short term pass
I Cannot Answer - Her short term pass still valid for 1 more week, why you come so early to extend?
KT - I am working and have free time today so I came early to extend my wife pass
ICA - When did you apply for LTVP
KT - Early May via online but was rejected and appealed end onf May.
ICA - Usually appeal case take very long and we usually advise applicant not to stay in Sillypore to wait.
ICA - [check form, check marriage cert] .... Is she prohibited from entry before etc...
KT - yes [pass her a letter]... I already provided this letter together with the LTVP application
ICA - ok. please take a seat [walk inside cublicle]

ICA - We cannot approve this short term extension. Your wife need to go back on or before the date of expiry.
KT - [showed her a gynea appointment date]... My wife appointment is 1 week after her short term pass expiry.
ICA - May be you can wait till end of this week for our reply by post regarding her LTVP.
KT- If I did not recieve any news, I come back to apply extension?
ICA - [look at doctor letter and appt card] .... Is she fit to fly.
KT - Have to wait for the appt then will know.
ICA - did you declare this in the LTVP applcation
KT - No. We just found out last week...
ICA - If you never recieve any news you may come back 1-2 before the short term expiry to apply again. Bring this letter and gynea appt card along.
ICA - If you apply now, it will be base on today's date for the extension and not the date base on the DE card. You will lose a week.
KT - Thank you.

In my mind I was thinking,
1) is there such thng as too early for application
2) is there such thing as appeal case takes long and bx need to wait in Vietnam

I got a feeling LTVP is gone case :(

Bro KT,

Looking at your stories, I also encounter questioning by ICA 'why so early apply' when applying LTVP+ for my bx although my bx still have 1/2 a year LTVP before expired. After the garment announced the LTVP+ scheme, immediately I apply online for my bx & was called up for appt. when the ica saw my bx LTVP stiil have 1/2 year validity, she sarcasitic comment 'you rich ah so early apply, still got 1/2 year leh', I reply back ' what if by the time garment cancel the scheme or already meet quota how' so she LL process my application & she got the LTVP+ on the same day.

gynea told me that next appointment (7th week) then can certify.
1st appointment, yesterday just give a letter that state my wife is pregnant and rough estimation of delivery date

Basically, fetus at early stage of pregnancy are very important & need to be stablize, your gynea need to help you on writing the unfit flying letter, if not challenge him whether can he guarantee the fetus will be 100% Ok after flying, die die he will write the letter for you

Cannot presume that she is fit to fly ....

What the gynae said is true . cannot certify fit to fly when 7th week .. but then thats also a good letter to advice ICA that we cannot assumed that she is fit to fly before confirmation by doctor ...

You can ask the gynae to write in this sense to convince ICA ...

KT...as a sinkie and voter, quickly see your MP in the meet the people session...seek MP to help with gynae letter...preferably your MP is a Minister of Home Affairs or MOS of Parliament Sec MHA...this will be very fast...tell the MP you had voted for him...ask for help for LTVSP and extension...:)

Thank you Bros Hurricane & Vietboy for your information. Indeed I did not go to Malaysia for a few years already. I have been a silent reader all this while. I really enjoy reading this thread. It's an SOP to read everyday. It's help me a lot in dealing with my spouse problems. Keep up the good work. Cheers
