This reminded me one time we had to walk the tarmac of the Budget airport of sg, this old vn lady laboured to carry her barang 2. The gentleman in me( very rarely seen) offered to carry her wet market bag which was totally heavy and was rewarded with a beautiful succulent mango when we reach the inside of the airport.

the one i go ok leh

we actually hv to bring them back ourselves. i remember got one time, 6 of us plus girls. i hv to ferry two times to go bck. its only the picking up, cos they dunno the place. but we can opt to send them back to their apt also. I know where they stay

not that restrictive lah. cos hor, i did ask viet bu out couple of times, direct call them to take off and come accompany me. they did. i just go their apt pick them. :D

Huh? I remember that time girls sitting tips was 20K. Yes there was 20K. maximum was 50K notes. I remember old airport terminal only. Need to take bus from tarmac at that time.

I was based there from 1994-2000 (my first overseas posting).

Good to hear that now MY have already improved, those days were when Sinkie start clamping down on all the VBs so they no choice all start flocking into MY then kena these types of traps :cool: many of my SBF kakis here have old flames that started to work in MY as cannot come into Sinkie anymore and start to send them distress messages for help when they were stuck there with their passports being "impounded" with the syndicates and unable to go home with no $$$ & no passports :(

Budget terminal was a silly failure to save $$$ on construction, only 2 or 3 year after construction many things start looking like crap especially the wall painting peeling and the toilets, really sia suay Sinkapor image :cool:

I am quoting 1994 la. Not so sure before how much. For a very time it was 11000 to 1 usd.
