Will you buy and take over a NICK for its reputation or its power. How much will you think its worth.


Take for example a nick of power 11 with 1000+ points and a nick of -10 of 7 years old.

maybe an auction market place for brothers/sisters who are leaving to "sell" their nick. SBF, being the moderator will approve or disapprove of the transaction. Prospective buyers must be active SBF members.

the only drawback will be confusion among SBF members of the reputation of the new owner of these nicks. as of now, we know reputation can be judged by the year of joining and the points/powers accumulated.

Someone did offer me to take over my nick but in the end due to both parties cannot agree on the payment terms so did not go through.

I already bought a few, paid about Rp 300K (~S$50), for a 11 point nick.

Hi bapak, curious and please don't mind the question... 11 point nick (I assume you referring to points and not rep power) you pay $50. Starting a new account is free but gives you more than 11 points. Why you prefer to pay ah?

I got one such offer before leh, but never followed through with the guy on price and other terms. Scared is AV or something springing some trap. :D
