I always run out of topics to talk to the girl I like and kept silence for quite sometime.

If you have issues thinking about how to continue having conversations, I think you should drop the pursue. Instinct and experience tells me that if there is indeed mutual likings, you will never run out of conversations topics between the 2 of you. It is not good to force it, especially chemistry. Just my 2 cents worth.

That's an option in private but difficult to execute in a public place without getting into trouble.

Me n my bf together for 2 yrs + but we never run out of topics, there is so much to talk abt :p
Ts.. how abt talk abt daily stuff? Work, family, any interesting thing happen ard u or her?
Beside engaging/maintaining a conversation, do have eye contact too. See if the ger is interested in ur topic or not.
It takes 2 to clap. No point u urself talk only n the ger is not showing interest or contributing anything to ur topics.

I am female n i agree with this. I would keep quiet if I am not interested n the guy will soon become quiet too.monosyllabus replies no way he can continue a 1 sided conversation. Once he is quiet I would find an excuse to escape.

Perhaps for initial meetings there will always be a little awkwardness, but once you guys know more about each other, topics will just keep flowing in. there are a lot of topics you guys can talk about, from hobbies, travel, food, work, studies to recent news like ban of alcohol or anything interesting you just encountered.

Communication is a two-way thing and it takes time for some to open up to others. start with some general topics before moving to personal issues and this will eventually happen once you guys are comfortable. give yourselves some time to know more about each other or you can write cards for the girl every time you guys meet. it could be simple well wishes, funny jokes or even things you have drawn. at least she knows that you aint a boring guy, just that you might be a little shy. sometimes keeping silent is okay, but remember to smile.

bottom line is, just be true, be your normal self and conversation will kick in. there's no need to like sell yourself or try to impress the other party. if you are sincere, im sure she can feel it too.

If you really need to pre-plan topics to talk about before meeting up, i think there is something really wrong.

Personally, I have never ever run out of topics to talk with the girl i like, whom i knows like me as well. No need to pre-plan any topics. The conversation just flows. We can literally talk the whole night till dawn, laughing and joking or just sharing about our lives.
