If I understand the process, the more important thing is the camers. Need to use IR mode or low light mode with filters then can X Ray. Normal camera, even with photoshop cannot really xray.

Actually thamkngw is correct in a way.

There is no such program in the market. And I doubt there will be any in the making. Even cameras with so called xray lens cannot do it. Those that they promote in dodgy sites are actually fakes. It takes a little knowledge of how xrays works to know it won't happen.

XRAY 101
First you have to beam an electronic wave through the subject and capture it on a Photographic Plate on the other side of the subject. Your camera don't project electronic waves, and ambiance electronic wave of or lesser than 0.1 nm is too small or little to penetrate normal body or item of clothings or be detected by even the best plates. So don't listen or believe any bullshit that there are such a thing in the market.

Oh and last and not least night vision/ low light vision/ infra red cannot see through clothes too.

What you CAN do is, use photoshop, some imagination, and edit the clothings away. the body behind those clothings will be absolutely up to your imagination though. ;)

Actually, the cameras working on IR wavelengths can "see" through light clothing, hence the worngly used term "x ray". IR wavelength is quite penetrative and is radiated by the body itself, not from a reflected source. This is similar to military application of Thermal sensors that can detect heat sources behind smoke screens and foliage, providing a view of the object.

The low light cameras work in the same principle. By suing ND filters to trick the cameras into thinking that it's night time, a view of the image behind light clothing can be seen.

However, since this isuue has come to light, so to speak, the camera manufacturers, notably Sony, has adjusted the sensitivity of their sensors to avoid such use of their equipment. Low light and IR capability still possible, but cannot see through now.

Another note is that X-rays are not "electronic" waves per se, but usually gamma waves of wavelenghts 10 to 0.1 nanometers. They may be described a "photonic" waves, similar to visible light but at the extreme scale. Medical x rays now use a fluorescent plate instead of a photographic plate. This plate can be scanned into a computer and is re-usuable as opposed to the one time use of the photographic plates.

Ahh thanks bart for the most detailed description of xray.

So in your words would such a device available commercially? But we are detracting from the thread starter's intention of getting a "program" or software to do a job where specialised and costly equipments are needed.

not only light clothing... i believe i saw on a taiwaness variety show that the material of the clothing is also very important...

Re: x-rayed picture

aiya, just take 2 photos that are in the same position, set in different layers, put the nude photo on top set transparent 50%, flatten image, there, x rays.

while at it, can even do 2 versions, one with hair, one you can "shave" the hair off. which camera allows you to do that?

for those that are used to watching jap porn, you can even design your own squares to cover the vital parts to give it a professional look.:D
