Bros in the forum, with so many wechat scams in Sgp everyday, i was wondering how do the scammers convert those cards to money? Cant be they keep buying itunes music etc right?

Any ideas?

Should be money laundering in some form. There must be a way they convert back to cash else no point using that method.

Ah Tiong and the Nigerians.

There must be a faster way than to resell those iTunes credits.... Unless they got shop selling iTunes credits in China or something. Shld be quite complex else police early already nap them. Seems like police really Lan Lan and can't do much except to increase public awareness.

They probably want to convert it to cash really quickly so probably got some shop in China to sell those credits.

Good question also, how they sell it off? No way they can track these. Police can only raise awareness on such scams.
