Anyone here same as me??? Got good friendly doctor that is very good at treating cough to share?

I coughed few months b4.. seen many western doctors all gave same cough syrup. See this chinese physician at upper thomson, 2 doses medicine my cough nearly recover.

Last time I coughed so serious until at night also can't sleep, coughed until lung also like vomit out. Consult a doctor at Raffles Medical, ate the medicine, more worse....then went to another branch of Raffles Medical, the doctor said if I came in late, I may need to hospitalized as there is high risk of getting inflammation of the lung, pneumonia, may need to get injection, luckily after taken the medicine, I fully recovered. Why I stick to Raffles Medical as it is my company doctor. Just to say that different branches of this clinic, the standards are different.

Better get it cure faster in case getting inflammation of lung, more serious & more complications involve.

Go to chinese medical hall, buy those ready capsules in a bottle that are meant for stopping cough. Ask the shop keeper shoud know. Next no choice see TCM.
I have one but expensive, bring S$200 for one week medicine. Cash only if I'm not wrong.

western med

sometimes it is called post nasal drip, where the mucus from your nasal drips back to your throat, irritating your throat (itchy) and then you want to cough it out. no fever just unstoppable coughing, doc can prescribe you some medi to stop the mucus and dry up your nasal.

if this is not the case, where slight inflammation of the throat, then usually a more powerful antibio plus some powder sprays are being administered.

$200! :eek: thats really exp! The tcm i went.. if i take 1 wk med ard $50-80..less than $100.
Even see those reputation ones like 马光 also not so exp.
So far i seen 马光 is less than $120

For Western medicine, doctors will normally give you some cough syrup. If this doesn't treat you, it doesn't mean you should go to a different doctor/clinic. It means there is something else wrong with you. It might not be just a simple cough but bronchitis or something else. The doctor would probably prescribe you some steroids for bronchitis.

simple solution, African sea coconut cough syrup, buy from supermarket have liao.. always have ads on TV.

had a bad cough, doc told me maybe will become 100days cough (百日咳), :eek:

even after strong antibiotics and cough syrup but still coughing... at the 12th days, I decided to try this African sea coconut cough syrup... power sia... 2 days (1/3 bottle, cos 4x a day x 4 tbspn each time) recover liao :D
