W/O all e attraction, CP KTV is as ordinary as those in GZ/SZ & other parts of China. Customers will then hv choice shld they want to travel to CP, or jus stay & play in city.. Because of tis competition & choices...CP will need bring down e price...of KTV & MM, to attract customers to e Small Town again
Imaging, if u were to pay 5, 1.5, 2..in CP for KTV, u can also get Top models in SZ..why would u want to go all e way to CP, while day time it hv less activities than SZ. The latter also hv better transportations, facilities & place to go

In my opinion, you are thinking mainly on the demand side... But u shld also consider the supply side. Supply side also have their choices... During this crackdown, most if not all would be forced elsewhere if they want to carry on in this trade... And as u said, most places are paying the girls much more... These girls are not idiots... Why would they want to go back to a place with such bad reputation and earn less? Even if we were to argue that there are more punters in CP than most places combined, do you think the MMs would rather work twice as hard for the same amt of money?
I used to know a girl more than 2yrs ago that was 3,8,12 cat.... Becoz of yanda she went Nanking to work and she was paid 5,15,20 there.. And the 15 or 20 is not inclusive of the 500 sitting fee... Do u think she came back after that?
Cp MMs prices have been going up so much recently for the simple fact that they want to retain the girls in CP... After all this has happened, in my view it's more likely that hotel and drinks rate might stay or go down, but MMs prices would definitely remain the same if not go up... Hoping that the prices will go back to 2,5,8 is like hoping that chicken rice price will go back to $2 after the 2007 financial crisis...
