I used to teach many vb (whom I am kc-ing) that tips for accompanying in pub, tips for dinner/supper, tips for hotel/bonking are charged seperately
This way, I make sure they earn their own money instead of getting from me
there are still some WL type of vb willing to give many things FOC when they are KC-ed.
