I travel in Jeepneys in Marikina, as I have plenty of friends there and think I can get around pretty well. Plus I look VERY very local
When I dress shabbily enough, I get white people and sometimes our very own SGians or MYians suddenly holding their bag closer to them
Not always a good thing to look local tho, cos when I go to places like AF1 I get 2nd looks, sometimes 3rd looks.
