the super rich ppl in Vietnam usually have connections with ministers or army generals...they take most of the lucrative biz...example current PM SIL owns the MacDonald franchise...SIL was an American graduate...
many of the super rich children will have to return and the parents will arranged marriage for the children to Vietnam equal status socialite families...no children dare to disobey the super rich parents becos their finances will be cut if they dun return...this despite whether they graduate or not...there are some sad love story of sinkie men and super rich daughters here...you can search and read them in this thread...
Loansharking biz is very lucrative...with 15-20% interest rate per month...the largest ops are run by the Cong An...knew an ex district chief who operated one of the biggest loansharking biz in HCM and his own province...who dare to hide from CA...
