Personally I feel sg still command higher rental return compare to other country like Vietnam or Cambodia.Even owning a HDB unit and collecting rental is much more higher compare to collecting rental there.
Invest or not is depends on individual holding power but to buy and treat it as a 'chalet' is indeed good to consider especially one have the intention to retire oversea
