Well, the lunch was decent and actually nothing much to shout about. However, I told her I enjoyed it…. ,Which means a lot as I am quite picky with my food, as some bros here who have had meals with me will verify, just to make her happy.

“Well, I’m really exhausted this morning…..” She said as Jessie went off to her office, leaving the 2 of us at the café beside her office lobby.

“Hmm…you have really changed, You were never tired at 3am…let alone 11pm…!” I exclaimed, half jokingly.

“Yah, after we split…..the next boyfriend was not much of a party guy and even after breaking up with him….I just can’t bring myself to go out to get a partner…..”

“Eh? Actually, you can just go for happy hour drinks and still be home early…”

“But, I not interested….I guessI just can’t seem to be interested in getting another guy….they just won’t be able to match you, let alone surpass you …..”

I suddenly felt rather awkward as I didn’t want to lead her on again BUT another part of me was yearning for a reconciliation….What should I do???!!

Well, the situation was saved when she realized that her lunch hour was over and had to go back to work.

But before we parted, she insisted I attend Jessie’s Birthday party at Equinox the following Friday night, to which I agreed readily……..

After that, we were both very busy and didn’t get a chance to meet up until the Friday night of Jessie’s Birthday Party….
