my residency status is a bit tricky, and applying for a work permit may complicate stuff. .. because, shockingly, sometimes, PH Govt agencies can be efficient.
Like when I went to get a NSO copy of a document, in Baguio, I was warned it will take 3 months to get it. When I went there, on the fly, within 5 minutes, the staff in NSO retrieved it.
Let me try the traditional route anyway, before switching to Plan B
