Promised Bro Nono my FR (went Sat, 14 Nov and return Sun 15 Nov) since he had provided the thread with really insightful information and assisted me with my questions via PMs.
1. Took the 9.40am ferry and reached Batam at 9.40am local time together with my other friend and this is both our first time to Batam. I thought I was chopped by the money changers at Harborbay as it was only 9450! But well, I had no IDR so I had to change some money first and I changed 50sgd. Went over to Horizon Ferry and booked our return ticket back on Sun (turned out to be a wise choice as the ferry we took at 2pm was close to full with probably less than 5 empty seats). Walk walk see see and was quoted 50k by a Chinese driver to Formosa hotel. Tried to bargain for discount but he said no and I agreed to the 50k as this is within the market rate. In the cab, I asked him casually how much he would charge us for using his service whole day plus sending us back to Harborbay next day. His quote was 500k and it's a special price coz he usually charged non-Chinese 700k. I rejected him politely and decide to hunt for cheaper taxi booking.
2. Reached Formosa hotel and we were lucky as our rooms were ready and we could check in immediately! My room was great and slightly bigger than my friend room and I had a 2-3px sofa rather than 2 individual sofa although the aircon was not really strong. Apparently, the Wifi in his room was strong as we had requested for that. Next, we went over to Lucky Plaza as I wanted to purchase a data sim card as I knew I would need Google map. Bought a 2GB simipati card for 100k with 50mins call time (the guy told me it's 500mins but I doubt so). Next we went over to the money changers opposite Formosa hotel to check on the fx rates. Was quoted between 9500 to 9590. I changed another 200sgd as my plan was to limit my spending's to no more than 350sgd in Batam inclusive of hotel room and ferry price (but later had to change another sgd50 as I was running low on IDR). After which, we went to hunt for our taxi driver. Saw this uncle and he couldn't speak much English and I had to translate my request to him using Google translator. He quoted me 500k but I counter-offer with 350k and he said ok. Was feeling skeptical but took up the offer still (in the end, he turned out to be a great driver - knows the places we want to go and mainly stick to his role as a driver and didn't offer any joints or restaurants for us to go). With almost everything settled, we went over to the minimart at Formosa Hotel to get some snacks and drinks. Told the driver to pick us up at 12pm to go for girls hunting. Plan to go Berry, Gold Bird, Permata Indah, Bunga, Happy 8 massage which are basically the 5 big joints.
3. First stop we went to was Berry. There were about 12-15 girls present but none captured our attention except maybe 1 for me but she wasn't exactly what I want too so we decided to leave. Next stop was Gold Bird. About 10-12 girls for selection but the choices were worse than Berry and I checked with the mami if this was all the girls and she said yes as most were booked in advance. At that point of time, we were feeling some disappointment but decided to continue with our hunt. Reached Permata Indah and WOW the choices were so much better and most of the girls were priced at 1-1.2m. There were about 15-18 girls when we reached at 12.30pm+. Both of us chose a fair girl costing us 1m each. I decided to go for a syt 21yrs old with multiple tattoos as she was really my cup of tea. I tried hard to negotiate with the mummy but she just wouldn't bulge but I told her to guarantee her girls won't run and they would stay till next morning. She said Yes, and I asked for her name card and told our driver to pick and send the girls to our rooms at 5pm.
4. Next up we were itching for some massage and decided to go with Delta massage even though in recent months, it has become a tourist chopping place. The spa interior was spacious, clean and neat. Went to the steam room followed by the warm jacuzzi and shower. Was led up to level 2 and a sales lady came over to sit and sell us the various packages. Wow, I've to comment the sales ladies at Delta Spa are pretty. Anyway, I told the sales lady we wanted the 3 sessions, basic room. She said no basic room available and we had to wait for 2 hours. The next tier would be deluxe or suite (I can't remember exactly) at 670k. The price was on the high side but since its 45minsx3 we said Yes as our experience so far in the Spa was positive. I told her we wanted pretty masseurs with good services. The normal massage was good and the sensual massage was fantastic. While performing the hj deed I asked if it's possible to touch the masseur and she quoted me 500k. I said no and laughed it off. She asked how much I'm willing to pay and I said 100k. She said no too but shortly after she said 100k is ok but only touch on the outside which I declined and the deal was off the table. But In my opinion, it's still money worth for me for the whole experience and my friend agreed too.
5. Went to A&W to grab some quickie snacks and headed back to our hotel to wait for our girls to be delivered. Driver promptly brought them to our room at 5pm and Wow my girl is really a head turner. Told her to sit on the sofa and asked if she wants any drink and I went to get it for her. Had some small talks and flirting using Google translator to get us into the mood. She was really accommodating and allowed frenching and the first round was good. Asked if she would like to join us for dinner and she said Yes and likewise same for my friend girl.
6. Decided to try out Marine Live Seafood. Ordered 5 dishes - sandshrew soup, French bean fried with chicken, mango chicken, home made tofu, salted egg prawns - and the taste was not too bad. Passed 50k to the taxi driver for his dinner cost and he was so happy. Before we ordered, I spoke to Denny and he recommended us the sandshrew soup which is rich in tonics and we probably need that. Price was 120k for the soup. Overall, price for the 5 dishes plus 4 rice and 4 drinks and 1 packet of cigarette for the girls were 492k. Not exactly cheap in my opinion.
7. Went to Nagoya Hill Mall to catch a movie since the night was still young and we chose Spectre. Movie ticket price was cheap at 35k each but the drinks and snacks were not. Should have restricted on the snacks ordered by the girls. Movie ended and we headed back and reached hotel at about 11.30pm. My girl was tired so I let her sleep and it's all the way till morning 8am+. When she woke up, we cuddled and she probably felt guilty and asked if I wanted sex. I said it's ok and hj would be fine. Pretty SOP hj and nothing special. She asked for taxi fare and I gave her 100k as I enjoyed her company from 5pm till we reached our hotel at 11.30pm. After that was abit disappointing since she slept all the way. My friend was in similar situation too but oh man his girl was not simple! She's not happy with 100k tips and demanded for more and wanted 200k. My friend said No as he doesn't have any IDR left but she said SGD is fine. Of course, my friend said No and she refused to leave. In the end, my friend gave her another 15k and asked her to get out. And before she left, she was cursing and swearing and kinda spoit my friend mood. She's 29yrs old already and I don't see how she can command 200k tips as her looks is so so to me. Furthermore, there's no spoken rule that tips must be given. Taxi fare I understand and 100k should be more than sufficient but she's so greedy.
8. Anyway, we headed to Mickey Mouse ba ku teh for our breakfast. Ordered 2 pork ribs soup with salted vege and you tiao and 2 ice milo. The taste was pretty good but not the price. 151k which I deemed as expensive. Headed back to Nagoya Hill Mall to purchase some crackers and kuis lapis before we head off back to Harborbay and had prata there which was nice and cheap. 13k for 2 konso prata.
My damage for the trip:

All in I spent about S$405 for 2D1N in Batam. Kinda on the high side but nothing for me to benchmark against since it's my first trip there. Would rate 7/10 for the trip.
Plus points:
- early hotel check in
- found a taxi driver who's reliable
- got a syt which was my aim
- massage at Delta was fantastic
Minus points:
- expensive movie snacks
- dinner and breakfast were on the high side based on Batam standard of living
- girl sleeping all the way from 12am to 8am+
- my friend girl showing attitude before she left
