If there is an emergency,eg like you are heading to Batam in the next few days and you are searching for some info that i happen to know the answers to,i will be able to understand the urgency to make a priority reply 1st. And i try not to reply out of impulse. On the case of your room difference question,i replied becos i didnt like to see someone searching up the wrong direction.

If Batam has ONLY 2 hotels to choose from,between Gideon and Goodway.
And standing in your shoe,i will take Goodway w/o a 2nd thought.
Reason/s is simple :
1. its a stone throw away from NED which i think you may somehow be more familiar with
2. worse case scenario,at least booking joints are within walking distance
3. its a 4 star hotel (given the fact that prices on both hotel were comparable base on Kaha's rate)
(in room bath tub pretty crappy but Goodway has a swimming pool,hehehe..)
But if the making a choice between the 2 hotels comes in my shoe,staying in any of them is no longer a question if i already have an unreliable taxi driver. I can even stay as far as KTM Resort which is at Sekupang area,hehehe...
Just a small note : Standing between Goodway and Gideon is Formosa Hotel,hehehe...
Wherever i am heading to in my trip/s,I prefer the best of both world.

I must 1st know the answer before i can reply. And at times,even if i knew the answer,i may not be right. So i prefer to read a question by a bro a few more times and try to understand it (why he ask,his intention,his reason for asking etc) before i am able to give the as proper right answer as possible. I try not to give a half bake answer tho.
