Reached Batam @10am Batam Centre, took Majestic Ferry, (of all the ferry going and return to Batam-SG.. Majestic seems less crowded compare to batamfast and sindo ferry). I usually buy my majestic tickets at the tour and travel agency shop near their POS Indonesia (post-office). Cost me 290k ($29) all in. Can get tickets from moneychanger there too at 300k-330k (sindo, majestic, batamfast). Saves more than $10 compare to if you buy over the counter in SG. I prefer the comfort of horizon ferry and harborbay, but since my house is nearby to batam centre, I have to alight and depart there.

Took an ojek from batam centre to DC mall area to change some $. Rate is 9670.
